You don’t need to have entanglement to be a quantum computer, just be able to use quantum super positions in your memory, logic circuits & switches. The entanglement would allow instant communication at a distance or extremely rapid data transfers between Omegas on-board switches & distant nodes. If I was Omega, I might try to insert entangled switches into some of the larger data centers around the world to speed up data access.
