Mr. Conroe, one thing I’ve noticed in multiple rereads of the DA series, is you REALLY like the phrase “apex predator”….a lot. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a great phrase, very evocative, but as old literature & public speaking teachers have drummed into me, overuse of words or phrases can devalue their impact & detract from the story. Sorry to nit pick.
