I saw that and, as much as I’d like to see the characters come to life, I know Hollywood would screw it up totally.

I would love one done properly but I think of my PTSD caused from the Dresden Show. I mean it made me discover Jim’s books. But I went back and tried to watch it again a few months ago and I had forgot how bad it was. So I guess the bright side would be that John would get more fans even if it wasn’t good to us.

If John, and this is a big “IF”, can retain “creative control” with a veto on casting and script approval, it might be possible to produce a great series. It probably would seriously cut into writing time and the set location would not be in Maine where he lives. (This was Jim Butcher’s error in giving up effective creative control.

Technically, no problem with current CGI.

Casting, I think most fans would be willing to make suggestions, but there actually are some very talented actors who could do a great job in Demon Accords
Budget, Aye there’s the rub. With CGI, it gets expensive, so the exec. producers need deep pockets.

Think we could get Denis Villeneuve to direct? (LOL)

I get a lot emails indicating I should make the series into a show or movie(s). But there’s a major problem with all that… I’m a writer… an independent writer with no agent and no connection to Hollywood, Amazon Studios, Netflix or HBO. Having anything made into television or big screen format requires lots of things I don’t have: a production company, a connection to a major studio or streaming service, even a connection to a director or screenwriter.

I would certainly explore screen exposure to the series if I found a path, although I do have some reservations about how it might turn out. Wheel of Time on Amazon is kind of a disaster.

I got to thinking, Johnny Depp appeared in the God Touched novel, so would that mean if it got a live action TV show/TV series or movie that he would play his self.

I’ve also been thinking this for a while now, there’s an actor named Chris Gordon who could voice the role of Chris Gordon if it was to get animated.

I got to wondering what a Demon Accords movie would be like if it was built from the ground up for 3D kinda like Avatar, I’m guessing it would be useful or cool looking for superspeed or Chris’ aura related abilities.

Another thought that occurred to me while I was watching the Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts reunion special that I recorded to my DVR when it aired on TBS. They mentioned that Jo Rowling did a Quidditch rule book maybe the same could be done to the Wytchwar Games.

Anya Joy Taylor – Stacia (Although Florence Pugh might be an equally good choice)

Seriously, would be better than Marvel!

An actor for Chris Gordon who is more in the age range of Chris Gordon or you could use the stock actor from the book cover. Also, Pinterest has some fan casting posts when it comes to Demon Accords actors/actresses fan cast.
