Here’s a weird thought to consider. Awasos is an almost fully mature bere wolf now, is he getting those “urges” males get? Maybe Chris should get him out somewhere, where he can get lucky. Can he reproduce? Would they also be shape shifters? Would they be intelligent, or is that just an artifact of his bear god origins? Maybe he could hook up with an adventurous were bear or wolf girl on a full moon. He is a handsome devil after all. There might be more strange shape shifting bears & wolves running around in the wild. Peyote fueled speculation.

Loupy I just made a post on the vampire witch combo, I won’t give my thoughts here as my title explains there could be a minor spoiler. Let me know what you think of my argument. But it has details of book 14 in it so be careful if you haven’t read it.

In Book 4 aka Duel Nature, a character has a hypersonic projectile pass next to their ear from a gauss rifle I think. So I asked a question on another site and was wondering if it was true and if you agreed with it.

“There is a shock wave and a pressure pulse will hit the ear drum.

As long as it is less than the bursting pressure of the ear drum, the person will merely hear a LOUD noise.

    Period.”

Doctorchild, while technically correct, there are a lot of variables involved. How close the projectile passes to the ear, velocity, projectile size & direction it’s going, all affect the intensity of the shockwave & how it enters the ear. The bigger the projectile & the higher the velocity, the more intense the shockwave will be. The wave also looses pressure/intensity as it expands away from the path of flight, so how far from the ear the flight path is will affect the intensity also (not by much initially). The outer ear acts as a funnel, so the wave coming from the front or side will be channeled into the ear hole intensifying the effect, while coming from behind would tend to deflect much of it. Eardrums are like people & have different strengths, so that comes into play as well. It boils down to, it depends on all this whether the eardrum is broken or they just hear a loud crack, that may partially deafen them.
Slow & a lot of volume will work also. Cupping your palm & striking the ear will break an eardrum also. Doing both at the same time is a classic fighting move, if you want to seriously hurt someone fast.

What bookstores can you find the Demon Accords series from?

None, that I know of. I got mine via Amazon. The fastest way is getting a Kindle copy. I’ve got both the paperback & Kindle versions. There are some differences (especially in the first book) between the hard copy & the e-copies. Makes it interesting. I liked the initial book’s spare style & the e-copy version has a lot more exposition in it. Not a bad thing, but it was like watching the original version of Star Wars & then the digitally remastered version with all the extra aliens & effects thrown in later.

Which makes it weird (not sure if weird is the right word to use). I bought the paperback version of Book 4: Duel Nature on Amazon aka a used copy of it and it came in the mail and it had the Half Price Book price sticker on it from Columbus I think yet I’ve looked on Half Price Book website for two years (on and off again) and never once found any books from the Demon Accords series. By looked on Half Price Books website I searched it up to see if I can find a copy but no such luck.
