    Hmm, good point.

I know he’s burning himself out, bright and fast, however I never thought of him dying. I wonder if his Aunt knows…or wait, has she already forseen it? Trying to remember if she mentioned something like that in The Book of Levi?

I’ll admit I was pretty Anti-Caeco too, honestly at this point in the series who wouldn’t be. It took me forever to read her book, I had no interest in a story from her POV. After what she had done, and the way she had acted in previous books, I didn’t care. I think I actually waited to read it, until the next book was out, and I had to read CAECO. That being said, when I finally read it, I actually really enjoyed CAECO. I was kicking myself for having not read it sooner. I can see how to some, her past deeds will keep them from every accepting her, but I felt she did enough to atleast accept her as an ally, working from within the CIA.

Would an injection of Vampire blood wipe it out? Prevent you from being infected again? Would people even take Vampire blood if it cured / prevented them from getting Cornoavirus. People aren’t even sure they want to take the current RL vaccine, not sure the masses would accept Vampire Blood 🙂

As for Singh, he’d do whatever the Elders or Tatiana wanted him to do. If the Vampires felt the coronavirus was going to have a significant affect on their blood supply, they may direct Singh to help out.

I liked it. I love the Demon Accords world, so it was great just to listen to another audio book of all new stuff with these characters in this world. I can listen to them doing just normal shit, I’ve come to enjoy the characters that much.

I’d have liked another Nika mission. I enjoyed her solo one in one of the past Compendiums. I’m also Still holding out hope for an Elder Senka POV 🙂

    (Spoiler through compendiums)

I absolutely loved the two Compendiums. The Demon Accords world is full of so many characters, there could be 20 Compendiums full of shorts stories, and it wouldn’t be enough. Love the series, and the world within it.

A short with Elder Tzao or Hosokawa. (previously suggested) I’m thinking their absence from the China invasion is a variation of what goes on in the Underworld movie. They don’t allow more than one Elder in a combat zone at a time.

I would love a separate POV for the Declan/Chris dust up. Pick whomever you want, Chris, Stacia, someone in the meeting before Declan wakes up, I don’t care. It’s just that every time I re read the series, I get to that incident, and I get so worked up/pissed. I’m 100% on Declan’s side in that instance, and really wish he would of woke up, flipped everyone off (except Stacia and his aunt) and took off. I feel like Chris and Tanya are huge hypocrites in that situation. Everyone just brushes off Chris’s role in it as ‘that’s grim’. Chris has dropped an asteroid on America, blown up 100’s of law enforcement firearms ammunition injuring many people twice, and he’s going to attack Declan for holding up a Shield to protect Stacia? Then make Declan apologize for it? I also wish Declan would have told Darci that her co workers could get bent. If they can’t deal with who he is, than piss off.
Sorry, I don’t know why, but that incident just rubs me the wrong way for some reason 🙂

Gumpy Bear has me re thinking this. I like the suggested Stacia angle.

I could not get over how tree stump dumb Brock and Afina were for going about it the way they did. Brock has met Declan twice, they have to know how strong he is by this point, and they know he is part of Team Demidova. Confronting Declan the way they did, and then making him enemy of the pack, is just monumentally stupid.

However, if they are being pressured behind the scenes by the European back, in an attempt to use Stacia to advance their kind, maybe it was all theater to distance themselves from her. Then they can’t be used, or forced into betraying Stacia. They cut ties with Declan, knowing she will follow him?

Dresden Files of course, however I’d also like to second the ‘Jane Yellowrock’ suggestion a few posts back. I’ve enjoyed that series as much as I have the Demon Accords, and Dresden File series. The protagonist is not quite as OP, and the cast of supporting characters is no where as deep as DA, but there is ass kicking and it has witches, vampires and werewolves oh my.
