In relation to Dragons and Gold, it’s is my opinion that gold is bedding for dragons, a nice soft metal to sleep on. Now I know many of you are thinking that lead would do the exact same job, however Dragons are a bit vain, so gold it is.

I think it relates to the power ramp for Declan and Chris, if you look at say, Harry Dresden from the Dresden files, the power ramp is much flatter, therefore 16 books about Dresden, instead of however many are strictly about Chris and Declan.

If you have a powerful hero you need a powerful villain, to make a good story.

Just in relation to the hotness factor, if prosthetics were used to ugly up an actor or actress in their initial episodes, this could account for Chris or Stacia or other bitten Were’s or Vampire’s suddenly getting hotter. I think a caucasian dog for “The stomach with teeth”, the bear and the beast form would have to be CGI though or a combination of that and good puppetry.

But as previously stated, if John gets his TV show, there will be an absence of books over the period, just look at GOT.

    My 2 cents worth.

Ok, beyond you going straight to Bestiality, maybe if Sos did the wild-thang with a bear, he could re-introduce Bears like Oakali (Obviously I don’t know how to spell it) as in Sos’s hybrid form, just smaller than him.

And as someone from Australia when is spring in America, because I am hunkering for Borough of Bones, is there an estimate of when the audio book will come out?

The elementals are getting bigger, are we going to see Draco as big as Black wing eventually, or maybe just the size of the Dragon in Harry potter?

I think Beast is a Proto AI/Grimoire/artefact. maybe Beast is the next Herby, self repair would be the least of it I think.

If Declan or Chris are going off world than perhaps the liberation of the little green men, would be possible. To win a war you don’t just resist their attempts to infiltrate your society, you take the war to them on their own ground.

What would happen if a gate was opened under water buy the invaders?

I think there are a few more stories at collage Arcane (Bare in mind I haven’t listened to the compendiums yet).

I also wouldn’t mind seeing advanced Tech being distributed to the good guys, not necessarily Demidova Corp. And of course being stolen by the bad guys.

Hand phasers anyone, fusion power, a true space program, real cloaking technology, and of course Steclan becoming immortal (I am pretty sure Omega is working on it).

I am pretty sure, that the reason the Dresden files tanked is because they tried to put 1 book in each episode. Most of Jim’s books are in the 500 to 750 page range, now a regular movie is in the 150 page range (script), so an episode would be 75 pages.

You can’t truly represent the content of a book in a movie let alone a 45 minute episode, the only movie I have seen recently that came closest is “Ready Player One” and it still left a lot out.

With the Dresden File TV show, there was also the issue with “Bob”. Where Bob is a scull, and the actor that played him was always bumping into things, so in post production the CGI guys needed to take that out (Expensive).

So with RP1 and GOT the authors had a lot of input, but not the DF.

But to be honest I would prefer you keep writing, than take the time to put together a quality TV show.

    My 2 cent worth.
